Activity resources are the key element to calculate the availability of the activity products. An activity product is typically restricted in availability, which is based on the resources required to perform the services involved. The user must define the resources prior to defining the products, which are then used to set the pricing and duration of the service, along with additional charges and sometimes even related tasks.
Products like classes and courses must also use a resource as the basis of limited availability per session. Each product can require multiple resources, and be set to automatically select the resource or to allow the user to select manually during the reservation process.
